Throughout October, the orthodontists and staff at OX Orthodontix will help raise awareness of National Orthodontic Health Month and the benefits of good orthodontic health. Orthodontic care has a positive impact on long-term dental health and self-esteem. The purpose of orthodontic treatment is to create a healthy bite — straight teeth that properly meet opposing teeth in the opposite jaw. A good bite makes it easier for you to bite, chew, and speak.

OX’s October Events

All month long, we’ll offer information on good oral hygiene and braces-friendly recipes. In addition, our staff will participate in our annual pumpkin decorating contest with patients able to vote for their favorites. Plus, patients are invited to participate in our candy buyback to benefit the USO.

We are very concerned about the communities suffering the devastating effects of Hurricanes Harvey and Irma, so we have also slated special days (October 16-20) to raise funds for Texas, Florida, Puerto Rico and USVI.
